Senior Software Engineer – Product (AI)

Location: Seattle, WA. Due to export control requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, refugees, or individuals granted asylum in the United States.

Salary: $143,000–$215,000 per year, plus potential annual incentive and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Build artificial-intelligence power-user applications for the CAD/CAM space across the full stack.
• Develop intuitive user experiences and robust backend services.
• Work on platform engineering, MLOps, systems-level challenges, and performance-critical code.
• Own major product areas and deliver features end to end.
• Establish code standards, engineering practices, and thoughtful peer-review processes.
• Ship quickly in an early-stage environment while adapting products through user testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 5+ years of industry experience, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, runtimes, and build tools, including scalable full-stack projects, services, or SDKs.
• Expertise with a modern frontend framework such as React, Vue, Svelte, or Angular.
• Experience writing, deploying, and maintaining backend APIs with TypeScript, Python, Go, C#, or an equivalent strongly typed language.
• Knowledge of REST, RPC, or GraphQL API design; networking; distributed systems; software architecture; and programming paradigms.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, cloud infrastructure, DevOps/SRE, CI/CD, IaC, observability, Git, and Docker/containers.

Nice to have

• Experience with three.js, browser-based 3D rendering, LLMs, or agentic systems.
• Python, data engineering, or MLOps experience.
• Experience with TanStack tools, shadcn/ui, Tailwind, Hono, tRPC, or similar technologies.
• Startup, early-stage, greenfield, or personal-project experience.
• Familiarity with C++/CMake, CUDA, CAD, CAM, or graphics APIs.
