Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: Hybrid role based in San Francisco, with primary work from the SOMA office. Relocation support to the United States is available for selected candidates.

What you will do

• Design and implement end-to-end software solutions spanning frontend components and backend infrastructure.
• Build and maintain scalable microservices and modern web applications.
• Collaborate with product, design, and clinical teams to develop a user-centered digital health platform.
• Own technical decisions and contribute to product strategy and planning.
• Establish best practices for testing, security, performance optimization, and engineering workflows.
• Improve infrastructure and development processes continuously.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on fullstack web development.
• Strong experience with React, Node.js, TypeScript, and related tooling.
• Knowledge of system design, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, cloud services, and AWS/Fargate.
• Experience with scalable software architecture, testing, security, and performance optimization.
• Ability to work in a hybrid format from San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Experience with Golang.
• Background in an early-stage startup or as a founding engineer.
