Senior Software Engineer, Java (Fullstack)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; onsite

Salary: $210,000–$280,000 total compensation per year, including base salary and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications for the identity platform.
• Own projects end to end, from technical discovery and architecture through rollout and operational support.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data, Security, and Operations to turn business problems into scalable technical solutions.
• Improve system reliability, performance, testing, observability, and developer experience.
• Contribute to architectural decisions that improve platform scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Mentor teammates through code reviews, technical collaboration, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience building production applications.
• Professional experience with Java, React, and TypeScript.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and modern software architecture.
• Experience building and operating cloud-native applications with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience owning complex cross-functional projects from idea to production.
• Strong communication, independent decision-making, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
