Enterprise Network Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX, United States; hybrid work with weekday attendance, occasional after-hours and weekend maintenance, and 24/7 on-call rotation

Salary: $90,000K–$100,000K annually

What you will do

• Install, operate, and support enterprise network topologies for data center control networks.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
• Monitor bandwidth utilization and resolve network incidents and assigned support tickets.
• Participate in change management, network implementations, and communication solution design between sites.
• Maintain network documentation, including Visio diagrams, and update router and switch software.
• Provide network security and operational support to internal stakeholders, including 24/7 on-call coverage.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of practical enterprise network engineering experience.
• CCNA-level knowledge and experience with routing and switching; CCNA certification required.
• Experience with IPv4, IPv6, BGP, OSPF, STP, LACP, Layer 2/Layer 3 switching, port security, and traffic storm prevention.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus devices, Arista, Palo Alto firewalls, wireless technologies, and IP address management.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, customer service, project management, and organizational skills.
• U.S. citizenship may be required for a government contract or security clearance. A bachelor's degree in a computer-related field is required, with equivalent work experience potentially accepted.

Nice to have

• CCNP certification, a master's degree, and experience with Arista EOS, CVP/CVaaS, Palo Alto Panorama, Prisma Access, Aruba ClearPass, or Ruckus Wireless.
• Familiarity with LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, Wireshark, servers, storage, workstations, security devices, and building management systems.
