TL;DR
Senior Network Engineer - Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana (Network Security): Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex data and security networks for professional services projects with an accent on routing and switching, data center fabrics, cloud networking, and security platforms. Focus on deploying VXLAN/EVPN fabrics, SD-WAN and firewall solutions, creating detailed network designs, and resolving complex issues through customer acceptance.
Location: Remote within the United States; role aligned to Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. Must be a US citizen.

What you will do
- Lead small to large network and security implementation projects independently or with a multifunctional team.
- Plan, design, stage, install, validate, test, and troubleshoot data and security networks.
- Design and deploy large-scale data center fabrics using VXLAN/EVPN and work with Cisco Nexus Dashboard.
- Create detailed low-level network designs covering IP addressing, business requirements, budgets, and operational support.
- Perform network discoveries and security assessments, prepare documentation, and present deliverables to customers.
- Execute maintenance procedures onsite and remotely, resolve complex issues, and support junior engineers with secure deployments.
Requirements
- 6+ years of related project implementation experience.
- Advanced expertise in multiprotocol routing and switching, including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, redistribution, loop prevention, TCP/IP, and the OSI model.
- Experience with Cisco routing and switching platforms, network design, configuration, troubleshooting, and security hardening.
- Data center fabric experience with VXLAN/EVPN and Cisco Nexus Dashboard.
- Cloud networking experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus experience deploying an SD-WAN solution such as Viptela, Silver Peak, or Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN.
- Must be a US citizen. Bachelor’s degree, equivalent experience, or military experience required; CCNP Security or CCNP Routing/Switching preferred.

- Experience with F5 load balancing.
- CCNP Security or CCNP Routing/Switching certification.
