Senior Technical Product Support Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

What you will do

• Provide expert technical support for complex company products and resolve escalated customer issues.
• Work directly with customers to diagnose technical problems and deliver timely solutions.
• Partner with Engineering and Field teams to address customer and engineering problems and improve product quality and processes.
• Mentor junior technical support engineers on troubleshooting, best practices, and customer communication.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and support tools.
• Monitor support metrics, including resolution time, customer satisfaction, and escalation rates, while ensuring SLA, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or at least four years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least five years of experience in service engineering or a similar technical support role.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and exchange accurate information.
• Ability to work in a professional office, laboratory, or manufacturing environment and use computers and office productivity equipment continuously.
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
• Some positions may require U.S. person status for access to ITAR- or EAR-controlled goods and technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting B2B capital equipment or similarly complex systems.
• Experience in the semiconductor, PCB, or related industries.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
