Salary: $110,500–$152,000 per year

What you will do

  • Provide technical support for a customer account, covering escalations, fleet performance, system installations, improvement programs, and upgrades.
  • Act as the technical escalation point between customers, field engineers, technicians, product support, and internal divisions.
  • Support alpha and beta sites with the installation, operation, calibration, servicing, and testing of new hardware, software, and processes.
  • Review engineering change orders and ensure fixes are supported by appropriate data and field communication.
  • Generate and present system performance metrics, including MTBF, MTBI, availability, process data, and I/W spending analysis.
  • Create, review, and present technical documentation, system upgrade plans, support plans, CENs, and BKMs, and ensure implementation in the field.

Requirements

  • Conceptual and practical expertise in the relevant technical discipline, with basic knowledge of related disciplines.
  • Knowledge of best practices and how the discipline integrates with other business areas.
  • Ability to solve complex problems, analyze multiple information sources, and apply sound judgment.
  • Ability to explain difficult or sensitive technical information and build consensus.
  • Ability to support colleagues with less experience and lead small projects.
  • Ability to work in Santa Clara, California, and travel approximately 25% of the time.
