Technical Product Support Engineer III (Semiconductor Equipment)

What you will do

• Provide technical support for a specific customer, including escalations, fleet performance, system installations, improvement programs, and upgrades.
• Act as the technical escalation point between the customer and internal divisions, supporting field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel.
• Support alpha and beta site installation, operation, calibration, service, and testing of new hardware, software, and processes.
• Initiate and review engineering change orders and communicate approved fixes to field teams.
• Generate and present system performance metrics, including MTBF, MTBI, availability, process data, and I/W spending analysis.
• Create, review, and present technical documentation, system upgrade plans, support plans, CENs, and BKMs, and ensure implementation in the field.

Requirements

• Conceptual and practical expertise in the relevant technical discipline, with basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Knowledge of technical best practices and how the discipline integrates with other functions.
• Ability to solve complex problems by analyzing information from multiple sources and applying independent judgment.
• Ability to explain difficult or sensitive technical information and build consensus.
• Ability to act as a resource for less experienced colleagues and lead small projects.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time; relocation is not eligible for this role.
