Location: Hybrid role based in Richmond, Melbourne VIC, or Sydney, Australia

What you will do
- Lead complex UX research initiatives across Financial Services product and technology teams.
- Develop deep understanding of users, business context, and the competitive landscape to identify high-impact research opportunities.
- Partner with Product and Design to influence roadmaps, strategy, prioritisation, investment, and product direction.
- Design and facilitate research sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews using qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method approaches.
- Synthesise insights across products and squads into actionable opportunities and strategic recommendations.
- Contribute to research infrastructure, including templates, frameworks, repositories, participant recruitment, and insight management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading UX research across complex digital products.
- Deep expertise in qualitative research and confidence applying quantitative and mixed-method approaches.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence product and design decisions through evidence.
- Experience coaching designers and other researchers and building research capability across teams.
- Strategic thinking, systems thinking, resilience, and the ability to challenge assumptions constructively.
- Experience working in an environment with regulatory constraints is beneficial.
