Senior User Researcher (Healthcare): Developing research strategies and conducting qualitative and quantitative studies to uncover customer needs and improve digital, physical, and service healthcare experiences with an accent on generative research, concept testing, synthesis, and stakeholder influence. Focus on connecting insights across studies and data sources, applying AI-enabled research tools, and strengthening research operations and customer knowledge systems.
Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia; travel of up to 15% including occasional domestic and regional travel

What you will do
- Develop research strategies for large and complex programs of work.
- Plan and facilitate strategic, discovery, and UX workshops.
- Partner with product, engineering, business, and other stakeholders to uncover unmet needs, define problems, and evaluate concepts and products.
- Design and deliver qualitative and quantitative research studies while managing timelines and dependencies.
- Synthesise findings across studies and data sources to identify patterns, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
- Build customer knowledge systems and improve research operations, governance, repositories, templates, and participant management practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Psychology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience leading generative and evaluative research studies within digital product teams.
- Deep expertise in planning, conducting, and synthesising qualitative and quantitative user research.
- Experience with attitudinal, behavioural, qualitative, and quantitative research methods, lean experimentation, concept testing, and discovery research.
- Strong synthesis, communication, storytelling, and stakeholder influence skills.
- Hands-on experience using AI-enabled tools for research synthesis, prototyping, documentation, and product thinking, with appropriate research judgement and oversight.
