Salary: $85,000–$146,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Develop and execute DC, RF, pulsed, and transient electrical characterization methods for semiconductor and quantum devices.
• Design test plans to evaluate device performance, variability, and parametric behavior across operating conditions.
• Perform reliability and stress testing, including TDDB, BTI, HCI, and electromigration analysis.
• Develop automated test programs and scripts for probe and bench-top measurement systems.
• Operate wafer probe stations, parameter analyzers, RF systems, and cryogenic test platforms.
• Analyze electrical and reliability data, correlate results with process and materials changes, and support test-structure development, process optimization, and yield improvement.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in semiconductor device characterization, test engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with electrical characterization, measurement systems, reliability testing, and failure analysis.
• Experience writing test automation code using Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics, large-dataset analysis, and data-driven performance evaluation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• RF or high-frequency device characterization experience.
• Cryogenic or low-temperature device measurement experience.
• Familiarity with superconducting or topological quantum devices.
• Wafer-level testing, probe-card development, or test-hardware integration experience.
• Statistical analysis, variability modeling, DOE, or advanced R&D experience.
