Technical Recruiter

Location: On-site in San Francisco or New York City; in-person work required 5 days a week.

Salary: $120,000–$190,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the full recruiting lifecycle for technical roles, from sourcing through offer negotiation.
• Partner with engineering leaders and hiring managers to define hiring needs, technical requirements, and team culture.
• Source and engage engineering talent through Boolean searches, GitHub, Stack Overflow, X, events, and other creative channels.
• Build pipelines across backend, full-stack, infrastructure, and other technical roles.
• Support the growth of the engineering presence in San Francisco through networking, events, and community engagement.
• Maintain ATS data and use recruiting analytics and feedback to improve processes, tools, and strategies.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience focused on technical roles.
• Experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced environment.
• Strong sourcing and creative candidate engagement skills.
• Ability to adapt outreach and targeting strategies based on hiring trends and feedback.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, emotional intelligence, and analytical skills.
• Willingness to work in person at the office 5 days a week.
