Recruiter (AI)

Location: San Francisco, on-site

What you will do

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for engineering and applied AI roles from sourcing through signed offer.
• Partner with engineering leaders to define role requirements and calibrate technical hiring decisions.
• Source, engage, and close candidates across software engineering, infrastructure, AI/ML, forward deployed engineering, and security.
• Develop a deep understanding of the product and technical stack to assess candidate fit.
• Improve interview loops, technical evaluation frameworks, and recruiting operations.
• Deliver fast, thoughtful, and respectful candidate experiences.

Requirements

• 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a track record of hiring engineers.
• Experience evaluating candidates across backend, infrastructure, and AI/ML disciplines.
• Strong sourcing skills and the ability to engage passive candidates.
• Experience improving interview processes and evaluation frameworks.
• Comfort working with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and limited existing processes.
• Clear and effective communication in writing, calls, and debriefs.

Nice to have

• Experience hiring for AI/ML or infrastructure roles.
• Experience as an early recruiting hire at a scaling company.
• Experience designing technical interview processes or evaluation frameworks from the ground up.
