Technical Recruiter (AI)

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year, plus equity and bonus

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for software engineering, infrastructure, applied AI, full-stack, and product engineering roles.
• Build outbound sourcing pipelines targeting AI labs, high-growth startups, big tech, quant firms, and elite universities.
• Partner with founders and hiring managers to define requirements, interview loops, scorecards, and hiring strategies.
• Manage outreach, screening, coordination, feedback collection, offer support, and candidate closing.
• Build recruiting systems, templates, workflows, and technical talent market maps.
• Track and improve response rates, pass-through rates, offer acceptance, and time to hire.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in technical recruiting.
• Proven ability to source, engage, and close strong engineering candidates in competitive markets.
• Strong understanding of software engineering, infrastructure, full-stack, applied AI, and systems or product engineering roles.
• Experience building outbound sourcing pipelines from scratch and partnering with founders, executives, or senior hiring managers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, sound judgment, ownership, and comfort in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Comfort with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, sourcing tools, email sequencing tools, and AI-assisted recruiting workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience recruiting for AI, ML, data infrastructure, developer tools, quant, or frontier technology companies.
• Experience hiring founding engineers, senior engineers, infrastructure engineers, or other difficult-to-close technical talent.
• Experience improving interview processes, scorecards, calibration systems, or candidate experience.
• Strong networks across engineering, AI, startup, university, or quant communities.
• Startup experience.
