What you will do

• Write creative, persuasive, and compliant responses to state government RFPs and solicitations.
• Coordinate with sales, product managers, and technical and operations subject matter experts.
• Translate complex solution information, technical terminology, and acronyms into evaluator-friendly content.
• Develop sales messaging, win themes, and a consistent voice across response packages.
• Design and edit proposal tables, diagrams, charts, matrices, past performance descriptions, and resumes.
• Conduct interviews, review source materials, and meet proposal milestones and deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of proposal writing experience.
• Experience with large, complex proposals responding to state government RFPs.
• Experience in government EBT.
• Knowledge of industry-standard proposal development processes; APMP or Shipley experience is preferred.
• Advanced editing skills in punctuation, syntax, and grammar.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, including templates, styles, field codes, and automated tables of contents.

Nice to have

• Experience with proposal platforms and AI tools, including Responsive or Copilot.
• Experience with content management and content database tools.
