Software Engineer (Python/Django/React)

Location: Toronto, Canada; in-office five days per week. Candidates must be based in Toronto or open to relocating to Toronto.

Salary: C$100K–C$150K plus equity

What you will do

• Solve complex software problems end to end.
• Design, develop, and maintain complex applications.
• Lead the technical design and architecture of software systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new features and products.
• Write maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and improve code quality.
• Take ownership of technical decisions and deliverables.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Proficiency in Python, Django, TypeScript, and React.
• Deep knowledge of software design patterns and architecture.
• Strong understanding of database design and development.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
• Ability to work in the Toronto office five days per week, either by being based in Toronto or relocating there.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP.
