Platform Engineer (Python/React)

Location: On-site in New York, London, Toronto, or San Francisco

Salary: $130K–$200K per year, plus equity and bonus

What you will do

• Develop the hirify.global Web Platform for scientists to upload and analyze experiments.
• Build data analysis-driven user interfaces and experiences.
• Work across both frontend and backend development.
• Scale web applications and contribute to a state-of-the-art development platform.

Requirements

• Professional development experience.
• Strong interest in data analysis-driven user interfaces and user experiences.
• Experience with modern JavaScript best practices.
• Solid computer science and software engineering fundamentals.
• Backend experience with Flask, Python, and Postgres, plus frontend experience with React and TypeScript.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• Familiarity with React and ES6.
• Experience with SQL databases and query performance optimization.
