Senior Software Engineer, Python

Location: Remote - Canada

Base salary: $170,000–$200,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Scale the incrementality product into a reliable, repeatable experimentation platform.
• Design and build near-real-time data ingestion and processing capabilities beyond batch workflows.
• Develop AI-powered workflows that help marketers evaluate performance and act on insights.
• Improve connection-state systems and extend the partner ecosystem for data ingestion and exports.
• Work on product capabilities such as role-based access control.
• Contribute to frontend components when needed to deliver complete product experiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and building distributed backend systems, microservices, APIs, or data processing systems in Python.
• Multiple years of professional experience with system architecture.
• Experience collaborating with product managers, designers, and data scientists while independently driving implementation and delivery.
• Experience in a startup or similarly broad engineering environment, with strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to turn ambiguous product needs into sound technical architecture and production-ready solutions, and to investigate complex datasets and interconnected tables.
• Working experience with React and TypeScript; deep frontend specialization is not required.

• Data-intensive backend engineering experience combined with shipped frontend work.
• Experience working across backend systems, frontend applications, pipelines, and infrastructure.
