Specialist, Quality Management System (Automotive)

Location: Columbia, SC, United States; 4–5 days per week in the office. Regular in-person meetings, company events, and occasional travel are required.

Salary: $95,000–$120,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

hirify.global is developing electrified pickup trucks and rugged SUVs, including all-electric and range-extender powertrains.

What you will do

• Develop and implement Quality department processes and standards aligned with company goals.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Product Management, and other cross-functional teams.
• Integrate Quality processes into the company’s end-to-end process architecture.
• Evaluate and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of processes and standards.
• Support development of the hirify.global Quality Management System.
• Coordinate with BMS team members and business partners across hirify.global locations to ensure consistent implementation of initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in automotive engineering, production, organizational development, or quality management, including 3 years of QMS-related responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Industrial Engineering or Quality Management is desired.
• ISO 9001:2015 auditing certification is required.
• Experience implementing QMS and/or conducting internal audits according to ISO 9001:2015 in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of organizational development, process management, process design, and Quality processes.
• Project management, communication, planning, independent execution, and ability to manage competing priorities.
