Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Salary: $150,000–$167,166 per year for NYC.

What you will do

• Define infrastructure standards, policies, best practices, and the roadmap for secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient IT operations.
• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS networking, identity management, storage, cloud services, and enterprise applications.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices to improve infrastructure consistency and delivery speed.
• Maintain high availability, security, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery capabilities for applications and data.
• hirify.global troubleshooting and incident response for complex network, cloud, identity, application, and end-user device issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship while coordinating with IT, security, risk, compliance, audit, and external vendors.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or a related field.
• Deep expertise in AWS, networking, IAM, SSO, Terraform or equivalent, Kubernetes or equivalent, and Datadog or equivalent.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell, used for IaC, CI/CD, and operational tooling.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD or equivalent, backup and disaster recovery planning, storage and file systems, and secrets and certificate management.
• Knowledge of SaaS administration, SSO/SCIM integration, license management, infrastructure security, compliance frameworks, and cloud cost optimization.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and hirify.global initiatives without direct managerial responsibility.

Nice to have

• AWS Solutions Architect, CKA, Security+, or other relevant certifications.
