Data Center Provisioning Engineer

Location: Hybrid — Sunnyvale headquarters/office, Finland, Norway, or Toronto, Canada

What you will do

• Provision and configure network devices, firewalls, servers, and related data center infrastructure using documented processes, automation tools, and provisioning frameworks.
• Troubleshoot server, networking, operating system, configuration, automation, and connectivity issues during infrastructure bring-up.
• Coordinate deployment activities with engineering teams, data center technicians, cabling vendors, rack integrators, and operations teams.
• Support network, power, and mechanical commissioning, including connectivity, device configuration, server readiness, and dependency validation.
• Improve provisioning processes, tooling, and automation for repeatable deployments across multiple sites in parallel.
• Validate deployed infrastructure, integrate monitoring and alerting, and hand off production-ready systems to Cluster, Network, and Site Operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in network and server provisioning, data center infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on expertise in provisioning and troubleshooting servers and network devices across compute, networking, operating system, configuration, and automation layers.
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting, with experience automating infrastructure deployment.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, troubleshooting, and cluster management.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management, particularly Terraform and Ansible, plus strong knowledge of PXE, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, load balancing, VPCs, firewalls, VLANs, LACP, BGP, and OSPF.
