Director of Talent

Location: On-site in New York City, with required in-person work at the Manhattan office 5 days a week

Salary: $200,000–$275,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and scale the recruiting function and execute talent acquisition strategies across departments and geographies.
• Set company-wide hiring targets and reporting systems with leadership, using data and insights to track progress.
• Develop innovative sourcing strategies for technical, business, strategic, and leadership roles.
• Audit and improve interview processes for consistency, speed, and accuracy.
• Lead executive searches, including C-level hiring, and build long-term relationships with senior talent.
• Coach the recruiting team, manage agency partnerships, and collaborate with People Operations, Finance, and executive leadership.

Requirements

• 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including 3+ years building or scaling in-house recruiting teams in a high-growth startup.
• Experience owning hiring strategy and delivery for a fast-scaling startup or SaaS company.
• Strong understanding of recruiting metrics, ATS systems, and data-driven process improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing recruiting teams.
• Experience personally managing executive recruiting and filling C-level openings.
• Willingness to work in person at the Manhattan office 5 days a week.
