Senior Mobile Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Build and ship mobile features for iOS and Android using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript.
• Create high-performance interfaces for client onboarding, portfolio management, advisor tools, and other complex financial workflows.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver complete product experiences.
• Shape mobile architecture, establish scalable patterns, build reusable components, and improve mobile infrastructure.
• Own significant features from design through deployment, participate in code reviews, and mentor engineers on mobile best practices.
• Contribute to an agentic-based software manufacturing pipeline and potentially rotate onto a Forward Deployed Engineering team after approximately 3–6 months.

Requirements

• 6+ years of mobile development experience, including at least 3 years with React Native.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, with experience across both iOS and Android.
• Experience with full-stack engineering, AWS infrastructure, and deployment.
• Deep understanding of mobile architecture, state management, performance optimization, and data-intensive applications.
• Ability to work autonomously, deliver high-quality features on schedule, communicate effectively, and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving projects from idea to completion.

Nice to have

• Fintech or financial-services mobile application experience.
• Native iOS or Android development, mobile security, compliance, or financial data visualization experience.
• Offline-first architecture, mobile CI/CD, and testing frameworks.
• Consulting, customer-facing technical, rapid-prototyping, startup, or Forward Deployed Engineering experience.
