Staff iOS Engineer (Fintech)

Location: On-site five days a week in New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, or Plymouth Meeting in the United States, or Toronto in Canada.

Salary: US $200,000–$250,000 or CA$190,000–CA$225,000 annually, plus equity and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Architect and develop iOS mobile applications, features, components, and integrations for new product areas.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, marketing, and engineering stakeholders to define effective mobile UX and align initiatives with business priorities.
• Improve iOS development practices, design patterns, deployment processes, and customer experience.
• Contribute across the full development lifecycle, including code reviews, planning, stand-ups, and product demonstrations.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends for the hirify.global product suite.
• Mentor and develop other engineers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional mobile development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Swift, including Swift 6, and experience developing iOS applications.
• Deep understanding of mobile app UX best practices and the ability to implement Figma designs in Swift.
• Experience leading large-scale projects and working directly with product, marketing, and engineering teams in an iterative environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with personal finance management products, consumer credit risk, and customer lifecycle concepts.
• Knowledge of UX design concepts and design creation systems and processes.
• Experience with Figma, InVision, Origami, or Sketch.
• Experience maintaining style guides, SwiftUI, and brand systems.
