Senior iOS Engineer (Fintech)

Location: On-site five days a week in New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Plymouth Meeting, San Francisco, or Toronto.

Salary: US$150,000–$250,000 per year in the US or CA$150,000–CA$225,000 per year in Canada, plus equity and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Architect and develop new mobile products, features, components, and integrations for iOS.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, marketing, and engineers to define effective mobile UX and align initiatives with business priorities.
• Write clean, readable, reusable Swift code and contribute across the full development lifecycle.
• Improve development practices, design patterns, deployment processes, and customer experience.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends for the product suite.
• Mentor and develop other engineers while participating in code reviews, planning, stand-ups, and product demos.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional mobile development experience.
• Proficiency in Swift, including Swift 6.
• Deep understanding of mobile app UX best practices and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading large-scale projects and working directly with product, marketing, and engineering teams in an iterative environment.
• Ability to translate design mocks, including Figma files, into iOS applications.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with personal finance management products, consumer credit risk, and customer lifecycle concepts.
• Understanding of UX design concepts and design systems.
• Experience with Figma, InVision, Origami, or Sketch.
• Experience maintaining a style guide, SwiftUI, and brand consistency.
