Director, Product Execution Leadership (Consumer Electronics)

Location: Hybrid, with regular office attendance 2–3 days per week within commuting distance of the Boston or Glasgow office. Applicants must be authorized to work for any US employer; visa sponsorship is not available.

Base salary: $203,000–$254,000 per year, depending on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.

What you will do

• Build, hire, develop, and manage the Product Execution Leader and product introduction manager teams.
• Lead cross-functional teams across sourcing, product and process engineering, quality, tooling, supply planning, logistics, trade compliance, and factory program management from exploration through mass production.
• Own product execution accountability for schedule, quality, cost, scale, and overall delivery.
• Align hardware, product, engineering, and global operations leaders across the portfolio of new product introduction programs.
• Drive manufacturing plans, design for manufacturability, fixtures, qualification builds, capacity planning, ramp, and fulfillment.
• Set standards for BOM release, budget management, COGS, total landed cost, risk management, and executive communication.

Requirements

• Technical degree; a graduate degree in engineering or business is desired.
• 15+ years of experience designing, building, and leading high-performance teams in fast-growing and innovative environments.
• 5+ years of operations program management experience and 5+ years of direct or indirect people management.
• Experience leading complex consumer electronics products into high-volume manufacturing, with a background in manufacturing operations, new product introduction, product development, or strategic sourcing.
• Experience managing and working with teams in the USA, Asia, and Europe.
• Strong coaching, strategic thinking, collaboration, and cross-functional influence skills.

Nice to have

• Mechanical or electrical engineering degree or diploma.
• Experience leading teams responsible for both operations realization and program management.
• Experience traveling and working in Asia.
• Experience in lean product and process development.
