Strategic Supply Chain Project Manager for New Products (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; onsite role with 10% travel

Salary: $124,000–$171,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and implement supply chain strategies for new semiconductor equipment from new product introduction through high-volume production.
• Collaborate and negotiate with suppliers to secure reliable, cost-effective materials and components.
• Coordinate cross-functional NPI deliverables across engineering, commodity management, procurement, planning, production control, finance, quality, and manufacturing.
• Develop dual-sourcing, process-mapping, and risk-mitigation strategies to address single points of failure and long-lead components.
• Lead material cost reduction roadmaps, supplier negotiations, cost apportionment models, and design-for-manufacturing and design-for-cost initiatives.
• Manage end-to-end supply chain programs, resolve risks, mentor junior team members, and present sourcing strategies to executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in semiconductor equipment development, fabrication, and supply chain management.
• Expertise in program management, supply chain management, business operations, and fabrication commodities and processes.
• Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and matrixed teams and influence senior executives and external organizations.
• MS in Industrial Engineering or an MBA with a BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field, preferred.
• Must work from Santa Clara, California, United States; relocation is not available.
