Director, IT Business Management

Location: On-site in Broomfield, Colorado, United States. Travel up to 25%. Must be a U.S. Person: U.S. citizen, permanent resident or green card holder, or a worker granted asylum or refugee status. Candidates must not be a national of China or Russia unless also a U.S. citizen.

Salary: $163,000–$219,000 annually, inclusive of bonus target.

What you will do

• Lead an integrated Office of IT Management covering portfolio delivery, business relationship management, operations, performance, finance, strategy, and organizational change.
• Oversee IT programs and projects, establish governance standards, and directly lead selected high-impact initiatives.
• Translate business strategies and IT strategy into prioritized demands, roadmaps, operating plans, measurable outcomes, and execution plans.
• Lead IT financial management, including planning, forecasting, budgeting, investment tracking, vendor economics, and cost transparency.
• Build performance frameworks with KPIs, scorecards, reporting standards, risk reviews, and corrective actions.
• Lead, coach, and develop managers and practitioners across multiple IT management disciplines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; 12+ years of progressive experience across IT management, portfolio or program management, business operations, strategy, finance, or related disciplines.
• 7+ years of people leadership experience, including leadership of managers or multiple professional disciplines.
• U.S. Person status is required due to contractual requirements.
• U.S. national security requirements exclude Chinese or Russian nationals unless they are also U.S. citizens.
• Experience with IT operating models, service management, enterprise applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and digital employee experience.
• Strong financial, analytical, facilitation, executive communication, organizational-design, and stakeholder-influence skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• Experience building an Office of the CIO, Office of IT Management, Enterprise PMO, or similar function.
• Experience with ITIL, BRM, portfolio management, business analysis, performance management, and organizational change.
• PMP, PgMP, CBAP, BRMP, ITIL, Prosci, TBM, Six Sigma, or comparable certifications.
