Software Test Manager – Automated Productivity Solutions (APS)

Location: Remote within the United States; location listed as US-DE-Remote. Travel required: 10% of the time.

Salary: $127,680–$199,500 per year, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define and execute quality and test strategy across automation hardware, software, and integrated workflow solutions.
• Build and lead a global quality engineering organization and drive quality culture, risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Lead automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous test execution across software and workflow solutions.
• Establish validation approaches for multi-vendor automation environments, including instruments, robotics, software platforms, and orchestration layers.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Systems Engineering, Program Management, and external partners on release objectives, risk, and readiness.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, validation documentation, audit readiness, and traceability for significant quality events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Bioengineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in software testing, systems validation, automation engineering, or quality management.
• 3+ years of leadership experience and experience leading global cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles.
• Experience with test automation frameworks, CI/CD environments, and quality improvement across complex product portfolios.
• Knowledge of regulated software quality requirements, including CFR 21 Part 11, computerized system validation, and risk-based testing.

Nice to have

• Experience with laboratory automation, robotics, liquid handling, analytical instrumentation, or scientific software.
• Experience validating integrated hardware-software systems and complex compatibility matrices.
• Experience embedding AI technology in software testing or working with AI-enabled products.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, workflow orchestration, SaaS applications, and autonomous workflow systems.
