Senior Deployment Strategist (Defense Technology)

Location: Washington, D.C.; San Francisco; or El Segundo, California. Willingness to travel 25–75% depending on deployment needs. Relocation assistance may be provided.

Base salary: $140,000–$200,000 per year, plus equity and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Own partner-enabled deployments and ensure integrated systems perform reliably in real-world environments.
• Plan and execute deployments, exercises, and pilots involving multiple partner systems.
• Serve as the primary interface between hirify.global, partners, customers, Engineering, and Product.
• Identify integration gaps and drive coordination to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Build systems and processes to scale the partnerships program across integrations, proposals, communications, and public engagements.
• Support partner identification, onboarding, performance tracking, and strategic alignment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in deployments, operations, defense partnerships, program execution, or similar roles.
• Experience owning complex efforts involving external partners, technical teams, and customer stakeholders.
• Technical fluency and the ability to work with engineering teams on integrated systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical, operational, and executive audiences.
• Experience succeeding in ambiguous or high-pressure environments.
• Active or eligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance and required U.S. export authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience with the U.S. military, Department of Defense, or national security programs.
• Experience building or scaling partnership programs across multiple organizations.
• Background in defense technology, autonomy, robotics, C2, or related mission systems.
• Experience with multi-vendor deployments, pilots, or programs.
• Prior startup or high-growth company experience.
