Deployment Strategist - Aerospace & Defense

Location: Based in New York, United States; hybrid arrangements are possible. Travel to customer sites and industry events averages 1–2 weeks per month. Offers may be conditioned on authorization to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export control laws without sponsorship for an export license.

Salary: $175,000–$250,000 per year, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Drive new business development across aerospace and defense through industry networks, events, and direct customer engagement.
• Shape the aerospace and defense go-to-market strategy, including events, content, customer references, and capabilities.
• Lead discovery, proposal development, technical scoping, and commercial conversations with senior engineering, manufacturing, and program leaders.
• Lead enterprise delivery projects by establishing technical plans, overseeing cross-functional teams, and maintaining focus on customer outcomes and adoption.
• Own strategic customer relationships, account plans, retention, and footprint expansion.
• Translate customer needs into product feedback and help shape the evolution of the PX Platform.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in aerospace and defense across commercial, product, program, or engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of aircraft development, defense acquisition, and advanced manufacturing.
• Sufficient machine learning and data science depth to lead customer discussions and scope technical work.
• Strong knowledge of the simulation domain; hands-on experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate with chief engineers, vice presidents, senior customer stakeholders, and working-level engineers.
• Highly self-directed approach with strong follow-through and ability to lead cross-functional delivery.

• Visible presence in the aerospace and defense community through conferences, professional networks, or published work.
• Hands-on simulation experience.
