Sr. Staff Engineer, Product Test Engineering

Location: Hsinchu City, Taiwan; the role is also stated to be on-site 5 days a week in NW Austin.

What you will do

• Design and develop automated test equipment and bench test solutions for characterization, qualification, and production of highly integrated ICs.
• Develop and maintain ATE test programs and test hardware throughout product development and manufacturing.
• Lead device characterization, system-to-tester correlation, production-site transfers, and qualification activities.
• Analyze test and yield data, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and drive yield improvement.
• Optimize test methodologies, coverage, test time, and production costs while maintaining quality and reliability requirements.
• Support new product introduction, manufacturing ramps, production facilities, and external OSAT partners.

Requirements

• BSEE and around 12 years of experience as a Test Engineer or Product and Test Engineer.
• Experience with industry-standard ATE, including Cohu Unison; Diamond 10/Diamond X experience is preferred and Advantest 93K experience is a bonus.
• Experience with mixed-signal or RF ATE techniques and semiconductor manufacturing test processes.
• Knowledge of ATE test programming, LB/probe card hardware design, statistical methods, process control, quality procedures, and documentation.
• Software development skills in C and Perl, along with laboratory equipment, debugging, and data analysis skills.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
