Staff Product Designer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Drive end-to-end product design from discovery and definition through prototyping, validation, and final execution.
• Design complex investment workflows covering portfolios, order execution, asset allocation, performance, and risk.
• Transform dense financial and market data into visualizations, dashboards, and decision-support tools.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Research to define strategy and shape investment product direction.
• Build high-fidelity designs, interactive prototypes, and structured user feedback loops.
• Evolve scalable design systems and use AI, automation, and modern design tooling to improve design-to-code efficiency.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience with complex, data-rich digital products.
• Experience designing investment, trading, wealth management, or financial analytics platforms.
• Strong understanding of market data, pricing mechanics, order types, execution flows, portfolio construction, asset allocation, performance, risk, and return analytics.
• Expert-level Figma proficiency, including components, auto layout, variants, and prototyping.
• Experience evolving design systems at scale and working across multi-step, interconnected workflows.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and independent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted design workflows, no-code tools, or design-to-code pipelines.
• Mentoring or informal design leadership experience.
• Experience with real-time market data, trading infrastructure, institutional investment systems, or quantitative user personas.
