Staff Product Designer (Fintech)

Location: New York, NY; hybrid workplace

hirify.global builds infrastructure for consumer-facing fintech applications, including onboarding, account access, and money movement for blockchain-based financial systems.

What you will do

• Own product design end-to-end across hirify.global’s consumer-facing fintech infrastructure.
• Design onboarding, deposit, withdrawal, account access, and money movement experiences.
• Create personalized flows that adapt to different assets, payment methods, countries, currencies, and account types.
• Develop high-quality interfaces and interactions with strong attention to typography, spacing, hierarchy, color, and usability.
• Collaborate directly with frontend engineers, PMs, and stakeholders to communicate and implement design decisions.
• Identify product and design improvements autonomously and execute them to a high standard.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product or interaction design experience, including experience at staff or lead level.
• Mastery of Figma and component-based design systems.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong design craft and complete end-to-end experiences.
• Strong understanding of motion design and animation as a usability tool.
• Working knowledge of React and CSS sufficient for direct collaboration with frontend engineers.
• High autonomy, attention to visual detail, and clear communication with engineers, PMs, and stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with React, TypeScript, or SCSS for reviewing work in code.
• Experience building or scaling design systems in fast-growing product teams.
• Experience implementing motion design through prototyping tools or engineer collaboration.
• Experience developing custom Figma tools or plugins.
• Experience designing products used by 100K+ users.
