Director/Head of Fleet Vehicle Procurement & Strategic Sourcing (Automotive)

Location: Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship. Based in the Phoenix or Miami hubs, with a remote arrangement available for exceptionally qualified candidates. Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

What you will do

• Lead multi-million-dollar procurement strategies covering pricing, volume commitments, delivery timelines, rebates, warranties, and risk-sharing mechanisms.
• Build and manage commercial relationships with global OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
• Translate operational requirements into vehicle specifications optimized for autonomous, high-utilization environments.
• Balance fleet standardization with market-specific customization to reduce total cost of ownership.
• Coordinate production slot allocations with market launch readiness and mitigate supply-side risks.
• Establish supplier scorecards and create a scalable hirify.global Sourcing Playbook for international expansion.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Experience in automotive or high-tech logistics is preferred.
• Proven success negotiating commercial terms with global OEMs.
• Strong analytical skills, including complex total cost of ownership modeling and executive strategy development.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-scaling and ambiguous environments.
• United States residence and work authorization required; visa sponsorship is not available.
