HR Manager - Germany

What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day HR function in Germany and align people strategies with business objectives.
• Drive talent acquisition, employee development, succession planning, performance management, and organizational growth.
• Ensure compliance with German labor law, manage employee relations, collaborate with the Works Council, and oversee monthly payroll.
• Partner with senior leaders on workforce planning, organizational change, and HR transformation.
• Lead and develop the local HR team while supporting the employee experience across the full employee lifecycle.

Requirements

• Extensive HR generalist experience, including several years in an HR leadership or management role within an international organization.
• Strong knowledge of German labor law, employee relations, and HR best practices.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders on talent management, organizational development, and change initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Business fluency in German and English.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Human Resources, Law, or a related discipline.
• Experience in a US-headquartered, matrix organization.
• Experience with Workday or other HRIS platforms, Learning & Development, and change management initiatives.
