(Senior) People & Culture Specialist (f/m/d)

Location: Hybrid in Aachen, Germany

hirify.global is a fast-growing deep-tech company scaling its People & Culture function and international operations.

What you will do

• Scale People Operations and Global Mobility programs as the company grows.
• Own payroll for Germany and the Netherlands, while supporting international payroll cases.
• Manage contracts, employee lifecycle processes, compliance, and employee administration in Personio.
• Build scalable HR systems, document core processes and create Standard Operating Procedures.
• Deliver People reporting and analytics that inform decisions and shape company policies.
• Partner with leadership and external legal, insurance, accounting, relocation, visa, and payroll specialists.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of hands-on People Operations experience in an international company.
• Practical experience applying German labour law in an HR environment.
• Strong knowledge of Personio, HRIS systems, payroll, benefits administration, and reporting analytics.
• Experience building processes, SOPs, and HR infrastructure.
• Fluent German at minimum C1 level and English required.
• Advanced Microsoft 365 skills, strong stakeholder management, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with immigration, visas, relocation, and international mobility programs.
• Previous experience in a fast-growing startup, technology, engineering, or deep-tech environment.
