HR Specialist (Medtech)

Location: Saalfeld, Thuringia, Germany; on-site presence required

What you will do

• Coordinate employee lifecycle activities, including agency-temp hiring, onboarding, contract extensions, transfers, compensation changes, promotions, and terminations.
• Advise managers and employees on HR policies, workforce planning, personnel matters, and employee-related processes.
• Coordinate Works Council consultations for hiring, transfers, contract changes, restructurings, and other personnel actions.
• Support performance management, talent planning, succession planning, organizational development, and learning initiatives.
• Coordinate internship and student programs and contribute to recruitment activities.
• Lead or support HR projects and continuous-improvement initiatives while ensuring delivery against quality, cost, and timeline objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or completed vocational training with an additional HR qualification.
• At least one year of professional experience in Human Resources.
• Strong knowledge of HR processes and employee lifecycle management, with the ability to advise managers and employees.
• Experience with HR systems such as Workday, SAP, or similar HRIS, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, project coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent German and good English language skills are required.
