Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Salary: $161,000–$182,000 base salary per year

hirify.global develops AI vision processors for edge applications that extract data from high-resolution video streams.

What you will do

• Build and deploy deep learning models for computer vision on hirify.global SoCs.
• Prepare models for quantization and pruning, verify accuracy, and adapt PyTorch code for target hardware.
• Create scripts and utilities for data preprocessing, model training, validation, and inference.
• Profile PyTorch on target hardware and resolve performance, speed, and memory-bandwidth bottlenecks.
• Integrate emerging model architectures into the model garden.
• Support model garden users and developers with troubleshooting, tutorials, and usage examples.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience developing or using deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Knowledge of the machine learning lifecycle, including data preprocessing, training, deployment, and inference.
• Understanding of deep learning applications in computer vision, including classification, object detection, and segmentation.
• Experience with hardware architectures such as NVIDIA GPUs or custom ASICs.
• Strong C/C++ and Python skills, plus experience with source control, code review, unit testing, and peer reviews.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Industry experience in a related field.
• Familiarity with quantization-aware training and pruning.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Deep understanding of GPUs, ASICs, and other accelerators.
