Senior AI Engineer (Applied AI)

Location: Must be based in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area, NC (4 days in-person, Fridays remote)

hirify.global is an applied AI team backed by Anthropic, building frontier AI solutions for high-stakes enterprise problems.

What you will do

• Set technical direction and write production-ready chirify.global for AI products.
• Work in small, high-caliber teams to solve complex, real-world AI challenges.
• Collaborate directly with client CTOs to understand problems and define technical tradeoffs.
• Apply rigorous software engineering fundamentals to non-deterministic AI systems.
• Design systems around testable hypotheses and curate durable datasets.

Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering experience with a track record of shipping complete products.
• Deep interest in applying software engineering fundamentals to AI systems.
• Comfortable communicating with senior technical stakeholders.
• High ownership mindset and ability to shape strategy and culture.
• Must have the right to work in the United States.
