Applied AI Engineer, Enterprise (AI): Guiding German enterprise customers in deploying Claude across operations and products with an accent on enterprise architecture, agent design, evaluation, and technical advisory. Focus on leading technical evaluations and proofs of value, building business cases for C-level stakeholders, navigating security and procurement requirements, and setting integration partners up for production deployment.
Location: Munich, Germany; hybrid policy with at least 25% office attendance and travel to customer sites across Germany

What you will do
- Guide large German enterprises from initial discussions through technical evaluation, proof of value, procurement, and the decision to build on Claude.
- Advise engineering teams on Claude Platform architecture, agent design, evaluation, security, scale, data residency, compliance, and governance.
- Define target architectures and success criteria for customers and systems integration partners, remaining a technical advisor through deployment.
- Build and present business value cases connecting AI capabilities to cost, revenue, risk, and time-to-market outcomes.
- Run executive briefings, technical workshops, and enablement sessions for leadership and engineering audiences.
- Share recurring enterprise insights with Product, Engineering, and the Applied AI team.
Requirements
- Native or fluent German, written and spoken, for daily work with German executives and engineering teams.
- At least 6 years of experience as a software engineer, solutions architect, forward deployed engineer, or technical founder.
- Experience in pre-sales or technical advisory roles with large enterprises, including complex solution design and value-based selling.
- Experience owning technical evaluations, proofs of concept, and technical due diligence with engineering, security, legal, and procurement stakeholders.
- Production experience with LLM-powered applications, including prompting, context engineering, agent architectures, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and professional experience in a relevant field.
