Commodity Buyer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage procurement and assurance of supply for production materials, equipment, and services across a global supply base.
• Coordinate material sourcing for new product introduction projects with R&D.
• Establish supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and delivery expectations, monitor performance, and manage supplier forecasts.
• Analyze MRP accuracy, maintain SAP material parameters, and control purchase order release methods.
• Resolve material disruptions through root cause analysis and implement inventory management plans.
• Manage consignment inventory, regulatory compliance, cost standards, price variances, discounts, and payment terms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or an equivalent qualification.
• Typically 3–6 years of procurement or supply management experience, preferably with direct or indirect materials sourcing.
• Experience with SAP, Ariba, procurement processes, and analytical tools for evaluating inventory levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
• Fluent English, spoken and written, is required.
