Buyer (Semiconductor Procurement)

Location: Penang, Malaysia

hirify.global develops and services materials science and engineering equipment used in semiconductor chip and advanced display manufacturing.

What you will do

• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, vendor contracts, and other purchase conditions with strategic suppliers.
• Issue RFQs, analyze supplier proposals, procure materials and services, and manage purchase orders through delivery and payment.
• Analyze procurement spend, supplier performance, inventory levels, and material demand.
• Review MRP, execute or cancel pull-ins, push-outs, and planned orders, and escalate material management issues.
• Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, engineering, MPM, and SCM teams to maintain planned inventory levels.
• Read part specifications and engineering drawings and support supplier selection and cost-reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience with ERP or MRP applications.
• Knowledge of procurement, supplier management, inventory control, and purchasing business processes.
• Ability to analyze procurement data and solve material-related accounting, receiving, and delivery issues.
• Ability to interpret material types, part specifications, and engineering drawings.
• Relocation is not available for this role.
