Associate Procurement Quality Manager

Location: DFW01_02, United States. The role requires domestic travel approximately 25% of the time, or about two trips per calendar month, including supplier facilities and project sites.

What you will do

• Support qualification, development, and performance management of suppliers providing critical equipment and services.
• Conduct supplier assessments and gap assessments from manufacturing through pre-energization and equipment startup.
• Manage supplier corrective action reviews, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive action follow-up.
• Monitor supplier quality, delivery, responsiveness, and warranty performance, identifying and mitigating risks to project schedules and operational reliability.
• Coordinate quality issue resolution with Procurement, Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, Operations, contractors, and supplier partners.
• Support factory witness tests, supplier quality standards, continuous improvement initiatives, and lessons-learned sharing.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality role with exposure to standard processes and procedures.
• Working knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
• Experience with root cause analysis methods including 8D, DMAIC, or Fishbone.
• Supplier quality experience in low-volume, high-mix manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, attention to detail, confidentiality, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

• Applied knowledge of APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, process control planning, and MSA.
• ISO 9001 auditor training or equivalent quality systems experience.
• ASQ certification, such as CQE, CMQ/OE, or CQA.
• Experience with SPC, Minitab, Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing tools, SharePoint, or database systems.
