TL;DR
Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Quality (Supplier Quality/Robotics): Building and driving supplier manufacturing and quality strategies, qualification processes, audits, corrective actions, and performance improvement for automated systems and robots with an accent on quality planning, defect prevention, process validation, and supply-chain collaboration. Focus on root-cause analysis, supplier non-conformance closure, global supplier audits, and ensuring reliable product launches under complex manufacturing requirements.
Location: USA Remote & Travel; up to 50% travel may be required to client and customer locations.
Salary: $150,000.00–$206,800.00 base pay annually. The package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), and PTO.

What you will do
- Develop and communicate supplier manufacturing and quality strategies aligned with supply-chain and operational objectives.
- Oversee product manufacturing to ensure production, performance, safety, delivery, and quality standards are met.
- Build supplier qualification, approval, audit, compliance, and performance-management processes.
- Drive Supplier Corrective Action Request execution, including root-cause analysis, containment, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
- Manage supplier non-conformances through material returns, deviation notifications, on-site audits, and monthly supplier scorecards.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations Engineering, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Test teams to prevent defects and improve quality processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of program management and manufacturing experience in a regulated manufacturing industry.
- At least 5 years of direct management experience.
- Knowledge of industry quality systems and structured problem-solving methods, including root-cause analysis and corrective action.
- Strong communication, negotiation, conflict-management, and supplier-influence skills, including experience with global suppliers.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, including Green Belt or Black Belt practices.
