Security & Access Control Coordinator

What you will do

• Welcome employees, contractors, and guests and ensure that only authorized personnel enter the site.
• Coordinate with hosts, new hires, and site visitors throughout the check-in and check-out process.
• Process visitor and foreign visitor requests before guests arrive at the facilities.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, environmental, and alarm systems for security breaches or emergencies.
• Draft emergency communications and resolve security issues promptly, effectively, and independently.
• Maintain a professional environment in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Security Officer or Operator.
• Familiarity with access control and visitor management systems.
• Ability to work 12-hour weekend shifts, with evenings and additional weekends as needed.
• Calmness under pressure and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance and authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Law enforcement, emergency response, or military experience.
• Experience safeguarding sensitive technology under ITAR and CUI requirements.
• Ability to stand for extended periods when needed.
