Aircraft Electrician (Aerospace)

Location: Mojave, California, United States; onsite. Travel to offsite locations may be required depending on aircraft dispatch location.

Salary: $31.65–$42.00 per hour for Level I or $38.50–$48.50 per hour for Level II.

What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair aircraft electrical wiring, connectors, and equipment.
• Work with electrical power generation, distribution, and utilization systems.
• Perform final functional and operational testing of electrical systems.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, technical data, and specifications.
• Complete installation records accurately and on time.
• Work in confined spaces and at heights greater than 25 feet when required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting, fabricating, installing, and maintaining aircraft electrical systems.
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong understanding of FOD control and tool control.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and promote a safety-focused work culture.
• Some restricted positions may require U.S. citizenship for government clearance.
