Location: New York - Park Avenue, United States

Salary: $150,000–$160,000 base salary annually, plus eligible discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Source, evaluate, and recommend investment opportunities in drug development and biopharmaceutical companies.
• Conduct scientific and clinical due diligence using preclinical data, clinical trial results, regulatory strategy, and market dynamics.
• Develop and present investment theses to senior stakeholders and the global Investment Committee.
• Support deal execution, including coordination with scientific advisors, key opinion leaders, and commercial consultants.
• Monitor portfolio companies and support capital allocation and value creation initiatives.
• Build deal flow and market intelligence through clinical and industry networks while collaborating across the firm.

Requirements

• MD or PhD in a relevant scientific field such as molecular biology, genetics, biology, or chemistry.
• 2–5 years of post-graduate professional experience, including at least 2 years in the life sciences sector.
• Ability to analyze and integrate preclinical and clinical data, FDA or regulatory correspondence, and market research.
• Strong foundation in financial modeling and commitment to developing analytical expertise.
• Familiarity with drug development and regulatory processes, plus strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and interact comfortably with senior executives and management teams.
