Associate, Corporate Development (Biotech)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually, plus bonus and equity incentives

What you will do

• Evaluate external assets, technologies, platforms, licensing opportunities, partnerships, and other growth initiatives.
• Support scientific, strategic, commercial, and financial due diligence for collaborations and transactions.
• Build valuation, transaction, benchmarking, long-range planning, and scenario-analysis models.
• Coordinate transaction execution, diligence workstreams, data rooms, deliverables, and stakeholder collaboration.
• Monitor competitors, pipelines, emerging technologies, financing activity, and M&A transactions.
• Prepare analyses and executive-level materials for leadership, the Board of Directors, investors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant life sciences experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, investor relations, or related strategic and financial roles.
• Ability to conduct market research, competitive analysis, industry assessments, and financial statement analysis.
• Strong project management, communication, strategic thinking, business judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial data platforms.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple workstreams and maintaining attention to detail.

Nice to have

• MBA, CFA, or another relevant credential.
• Prior experience with due diligence processes and transaction execution.
