Corporate & Business Development Senior Manager (M&A)

Location: Remote anywhere in the US

Salary: $133,120–$249,600 per year, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits

What you will do

• Support all aspects of the acquisition lifecycle and develop investment theses.
• Originate deals and develop the M&A funnel with Business Development leads.
• Conduct strategic and market evaluations, market modeling, data analysis, and hypothesis building.
• Support deal execution through deal-team coordination, due diligence, and financial analysis.
• Monitor and report on M&A competitor activity, market trends, and marketplace developments.
• Partner with senior business, corporate development, finance, and cross-functional stakeholders, including CEO Staff and business-group leaders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience across business consulting, private equity, investment banking, and/or Corporate Development, focused on mergers and acquisitions, investment thesis building, and deal execution.
• Experience leading the full lifecycle of complex global M&A transactions, from strategy through close.
• Experience developing and evaluating valuation models and conducting comprehensive due diligence.
• Proficiency in secondary research and in designing and conducting primary research.
• Broad understanding and experience with qualitative and quantitative market research techniques.
• Knowledge of biopharma, Cell and Gene therapy, genomics, and clinical diagnostics.
• Knowledge of technical and scientific details, with the ability to discuss current and future industry trends credibly with customers and internal teams.
• Intellectual curiosity, a bias for action, an ownership attitude, and the ability to solve problems and deliver actionable results.
